We got the keys a few days ago and can�t wait to start painting and moving and living in our dream home. All deserve praise and gratitude.

We have made it to Mexico through a marathon of moving, but we are here and warm and done with moving for a very long time.

Last year, we had the pleasure of working with Alexis Halmy to purchase our first home in Portland. We were moving from out of state, with limited time to visit Portland. Alexis was accommodating, communicative, and available whenever we needed her, readily working with us to seek answers and solve problems.
Her advice in selecting inspectors and additional optional inspections meant that we went into the deal thoroughly understanding the condition of the property. As a result, we have had no surprises, despite having bought a 100-year old house that had been neglected, abused, and abandoned. She has also gone beyond her duty in purchasing us a home warranty package that has (so far) saved us thousands of dollars in repairs.
Our home purchase was a real estate transaction where the headaches didn't stop until months after closing. Alexis had to deal with truly unprofessional, irresponsible, and irrational behavior on the part of the listing agent, her assistant, and the asset manager of the bank that owned the property. We had delays of several months in closing. Throughout the ordeal, she showed patience and tenacity, and she kept us appropriately updated via phone and email even through her vacation.
